Visit any construction site: the watchers are always there. Rubbernecking, looking at the ballet of building, meditating on the transformation, making dreams of space, of time, projects of life...

Infinito is a place dedicated to the curious, the obser- vers, critics, dreamers, visionaries...

With Infinito, by the artist Onzgi, there’s no pretense, and no answers. For the duration of the site, Infinito, composed of two red benches recycled from an ear- lier incarnation of the place, transforms the ensemble of observatory, observer and construct into an open scene, where everyone can choose to take the role of spectator, director or actor.

Infinito was set in Mendrisio for the whole construction period of the Piazza del Ponte.
