Kaleidoscope
La Générale, Paris
2016
Kaleidoscope explores the incommensurable, multidimensional and paradoxical «matter» of space. The exhibition, «unpacked» by black plastic, is conceived as a multifaceted mirror. It presents itself as a heterogeneous set of works without order or hierarchy, which vary in their modes of expression, materiality and dimension. A video projection, a text, paintings, sculptures, installations and a game interact as contradictory aspects of a whole. The single works freely refer to visual art, architecture, philosophy and science, and have the notion of space as only common concern. In this place of intersections it’s up to the visitor to build his or her own connections and vision.
